Every summer has its own story

Royaume des Femmes and Fête & Company invited us to a free Summer Ladies Event at the luxurious Sandton Hotel Reylhof in Ghent — and I was privileged to be part of it with a pop-up shop in one of the foyers.

On the programme:

  • A fashion show
  • Wedding planning and styling advice
  • A fashion, beauty & henna bar
  • Free snacks and drinks

The first 40 guests who reserved a spot were sure of a goodie bag full of nice things — I even took a picture with the Rituals bag to prove it. My pop-up brought a selection of womenswear, jewellery and handbags.

Royaume des Femmes

This company was founded by two young women who are truly devoted to making a bride feel as beautiful and special as possible. Besides Moroccan dresses and wedding dresses, Royaume des Femmes were the first to specialise in Algerian traditional clothing in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Congratulations, ladies!

Originality, luxury and quality are the key words in their handmade creations. I love all the beading and rhinestones on these dresses — the details on every single one are truly amazing. Look at me glow on their runway: I felt like a beautiful peacock in that royal blue dress!

Fête & Company specialises in organising multicultural events and weddings. Shadé Bankolé takes care of your event with tons of originality, creativity and professionalism, so you can enjoy your day carefree.

I’ve known Shadé since we were teenagers, and I have always loved her style and personality. It’s lovely to see how well she translates that into her work. Keep it up, miss!
